Nadia Ben Rachid is a talented editor who has worked for over 25 years and is known for documentaries as well as narrative films. She has received a number of international awards, including: the César for Best Editing for Timbuktu by Abderrahmane Sissako in 2015 and the 1st Final Cut Prize at the Venice Film Festival in 2013 for the film Le Challat de Tunis by Kaouther Ben Hania.
Nadia Ben Rachid began her career as an assistant editor, working under Hervé de Luze, Sam O’Steen and Yves Deschamps. She learned the craft through working with filmmakers like Roman Polański (Pirates, Bitter Moon, Frantic), Henri Verneuil on Les Morfalous, Claude Berri on Uranus and Germinal, Agnieska Holland, and Roland Joffé. She is the editor of choice for Abderrahmane Sissako. She has also edited a number of films for Anne Aghion, Yamina Benguigui and other world-class filmmakers.
