Cinegro
Homo précarius, Groland
For our 40th anniversary, the Clermont-Ferrand festival has decided to welcome a rather young cinema: the cinema of Groland, which has just celebrated its 25th birthday.
On this historic occasion, Grolondais authors and directors will do us the honor of presenting a few short fiction films that have added spice to the CANAL+ programme over the last two and a half decades. Guiding us on this tour is Bertrand Tavernier, historian of the seventh art, which was not created by the Lumière Brothers of Lyon, but by the Torch Sisters of Groland!
Interviewed by the famous and incompetent journalist Michel Kael, Tavernier will provide the commentary for a 90-minute programme that consists of small gems that are for the most part tinged with black humor. You will discover the early works of Christophe Salengro, Jules-Edouard Moustic, Francis Kuntz, Benoit Delépine, Gustave Kervern, Franck Bellocq, or Franck Benoist as they are directed by the historic directors of the Presipality.
It is a concentration of leading figures, all recipients of the Arts and Litres award presented during the twin city ceremony between Groland and Clermont-Ferrand in 2012. They will be present to respond awkwardly to your questions, and to offer their apologies once and for all!
