Cross and transmedia # 7 - Web-fiction

Organized in partnership with the Avignon Frames Festival, this roundtable is an opportunity to discuss the theme of  production and distribution of short fictions on the Internet. On the occasion of  the creation of a support fund for these emerging sector, François Theurel (Le Fossoyeur de Films), Anaïs Vachez (Le Petit Monstre) and Pascale Faure (CANAL +) debate around the stakes of these new productions, taking into consideration the point of view of traditional distribution circuits and the one of a new creative branch.

Canada Panel 2019: from short to feature, discussion with directors of the "O Canada" focus

As part of the Canadian Short Film Retrospective this year, Telefilm Canada, SODEC and the Short Film Market invited three filmmakers of this special focus to speak of their short film experience: Yan Giroux ( "Surveillant", CAN3 program), Ian Lagarde ("Vent solaire", CAN4 program) and Caroline Monnet ("Tshiuetin", CAN6 program, "Mobilize", DB1 program). The panel is led by Bernard Boulad, former artistic director of the European short film festival Brest and journalist.

Script Masterclass: David Oelhoffen
