Be prepared for the 39th Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival next February

The Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival continues to amaze with record entries of 162,000 spectators and over 7,000 film submissions.

You really will be dazzled by the light shining on this ocean of dreams. Come join us on a journey into the deep from February 3 to 11, 2017. You won’t be disappointed by the breathtaking cinematic panoramas and the plethora of surprises on the horizon!

Our journey will take us across land, sky and sea, buoyed by the wings of imagination, pampered and filigently nourished with food from the four corners of the world, in three competitions (International, French and Lab) representing the many countries that refuse to let your eyes go hungry.

Drift among ideas that leap like flying fish from the depths of our minds in this all-terrain dinghy that is traversing the globe on the hunt for the best new morsels in the ocean of short films. From a stopover in Colombia (6 programmes) to tides of black humor (3 programmes), we promise you there will be some good fishing out there. We’d never lead you up the garden path… without a paddle!

This time, we’ve really taken the stars out of the sky for you, but we’ve left the most important ones there to guide your ship, so jump in with us and go with the flow. All aboard!
