Fredo Viola was born in London, England. Several years later he moved to the United States where he was raised studying music and film making. Fredo graduated from NYU Tisch Film School with a Consistent Excellence in Film Making honor.
In 2009, Fredo released his first album, The Turn, which garnered much critical success and a Prix Constantin nomination, as well as being named #2 Album of the Year by Les Inrockuptibles. In 2010 his audio/visual project created with Steph Thirion and Aer Visual Studios won many awards, including Grand Laus, European Design Gold, TWA Site of the Month and Week.
In 2014, Fredo independently released his second album of music, Revolutionary Son.
