The French Film maker Claire Burger in the National Jury 2015.
Claire Burger was born in 1978 in Forbach, Lorraine (France). She first worked as a photo-journalist before she became a La Fémis school degree holder and finally, a film maker. During her first shootings, she makes some films with her close relations and works with non professional actors, exploring together the ambiguous connection between fiction and reality.
Forbach
Her first short film Forbach won the National Grand Prix of the Clermont-Ferrand Festival in 2009. She directs her next two short films with Marie Amachoukeli : C’est gratuit pour les filles in 2009 and Demolition Party en 2013. In 2014, she makes her first feature film Party Girlwith her childhood friend Samuel Theis and Marie Amachoukeli, which wins the Caméra d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. She is now working on the script of her second feature film.
